On the earnings call Elon said
“we’re hoping to debut [next gen roadster] in April, hopefully. It’s gonna be something out of this world.”
(I’m just the messenger, don’t shoot me)
Tesla designer I know said that it’s not something that anyone is currently working on.
As such, my guess is “not any time soon”.
