The guy is obsessed with aviation. He's not just a casual pilot but he owns and flies a fleet of fighter jets and flew to space privately iirc. Like elon musk he appreciates the commercial value of space. No doubt he's is tremendously ambitious when it comes to space and genuinely cares about it. If you look past the whole billionaire thing etc, he sounds like a good pick to lead NASA.

Yeah, I'm concerned that Isaacman is running full speed towards a brick wall and he's going to burn out. But if he wants to sacrifice himself I guess we should let him try.
