Notably absent from the list of allowed CSS declarations is font-family, probably because you could abuse it to change the text on the button. While I appreciate the safety that this gives, it's going to be an annoying UX wrinkle basically in perpetuity. Especially if you're building a page with serif fonts and the browser makes your button sans serif (or vise versa).
