I got one like that, but the links aren't in a table.

The table format means the display can be used more effectively than a list on the left hand side.

Tables are pretty simple:

    <table border=1 cellpadding=4 cellspacing=0>
    <tr>
    <td> <A HREF="https://www.google.com">Google</A>
    <td> <A HREF="http://slashdot.org">Slashdot</A>
    <td> <A HREF="https://www.ebay.com">Ebay</A>

and so on...
