It may be the primary responsibility by plurality but it almost is never the MAJORITY of the time you spend, ESPECIALLY in big tech.

I'd say the most likely breakdown is:

* 40% managing reports and judging their performance * 30% managing upwards * 20% recruiting/hiring * 10% team vision/strategy + cross-org initiatives
