Idea: instead of screwing around with the complexities of getting millions of small trucks using Bxx diesel fuel, plus delivering it at thousands of retail filling stations, target a few high-volume users. Stuff like Navy ships and railroad locomotives. That'd really cut down (1) how many engines & fuel systems you'd have to make compatible with Bxx fuel, (2) the logistics of delivering the stuff, and (3) the number of decision makers who'd need to buy in.
