Cool then you can do it and waste your time. I already told you why, but if you want to find out go ahead. It’s only worth it maybe if someone is a total noob and needs experience. But even then they’re better off applying to a better off company and getting it, and then starting their own company.

And you think there will be less commitment as a founding engineer? You’re getting 1% equity on a scheduled vesting and you are the one who will build all the tech.

    I’ve already done it, almost a decade ago. As a founding eng I got a bit over 5%. The company failed but it was still a positive experience.
